8th Summit Talks at the Falkensteiner Schlosshotel in Velden on Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia

For the eighth time world-class leaders from business and politics exchanged views on future geopolitical and economic developments in light of the crisis in Ukraine and the important question of the future viability of Austria as a business location. This year, the Summit Talks took place from March 23 to 24, 2023, at the Falkensteiner Schlosshotel in Velden on Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia. Under the patronage of Dr. Alfred Gusenbauer, this year’s program included not only stimulating discussions and keynotes, but also a gala dinner at the Falkensteiner Salon Restaurant and a tasting of wines from the Allegrini winery in the Valpolicella Classica region. The winery is located in the Lessinian hills in the Veneto region of Italy and is known for its select and high-quality products.

Gerald Gerstbauer, CEO of Sprenger Gerstbauer Consulting GmbH, was pleased to welcome the guests in the beautiful ambience at the Wörtersee and opened with the words: “It is a great honor and pleasure for me to welcome our guests again in the context of our prominent event. The Summit Talks have meanwhile developed into an institution that is now known far beyond the borders of Austria. Especially in these difficult times under the influence of the armed conflict in Ukraine, exchange and reflection are of central importance.
